Why You Should Give

Supporting one of the CED Centers or Programs through your gift is an investment in Washington’s quality of life.

CED programs are only partially underwritten by State, County, and Federal government funds. The majority of our outreach is supported by extramural funds such as grants and contracts. More and more, philanthropy is playing a critical role in helping fund CED Center and Program activities. Gifts from individuals and organizations provide the financial independence that allows us to quickly respond to areas of need and emerging opportunities.

Ways You Can Give

Gifts of any size are important and appreciated. Your gift qualifies as donor credit at Washington State University and is fully tax deductible. There are a number of ways you can make a gift, including:

  • Gifts of cash or by credit card
  • Gifts of Stock
  • Gift Planning

Many employers will match their employees’ gifts to Washington State University. Some employers will even match the gifts of retired employees, spouses, parents, and even gifts from their board of directors.

How to Give

Please visit the Center’s or Program’s individual websites (listed in the left column) on how to give a gift in support of their activities. You can also visit this link to be redirected to the WSU Foundation’s online giving portal.

GiveGift of all types and sizes are powerful investments in CED's mission.

Employer Matching

Did you know that many major employers such as Microsoft, Boeing, and Wells Fargo throughout the Pacific Northwest will match your gift to CED dollar for dollar? See if your company makes the list.

Monthly Giving

By making your gift, you have the option to create regular and reliable support via monthly or quarterly gifts (of any size). This helps create a steady flow of funds which allows us to spend more time helping communities thrive.
